Explore Place Around The World Through Gez.la

It's no secret I love websites that help you explore the world! And I found another one GEZ.LA

This website is similar to Google Earth or Google Street View, in fact it uses some of the same technology. However the search feature and ability or filter by country or type of place (museum, nature, or historic site) is really neat.

Create a new blog post in your Spanish Blog Portfolio (or send an email to your teacher), title it the same as this blog post, then complete two of the tasks below.
  1. Pick one of the places and describe it in detail. Where is it? What is it? Why is it important? Who made it? When was it created? Why did you pick that place?
  2. Which place would you like to visit? Explain your answer.
  3. Which place would you not like to visit? Explain your answer.
  4. Compare two of the places with 2 similarities and 2 differences.
  5. Do you prefer to visit nature, museums, or historical places? Explain your answer

Songs About Coronavirus

Many musicians are trying to promote safety during the pandemic by singing songs. Check out some of the songs about staying home below.

Los Rojos from México

Hermanos Yaipen from Peru

Judy Neddermann from Spain

Gaby Moreno from Guatemala

Create a new blog post in your Spanish Blog Portfolio (or send an email to your teacher), title it the same as this blog post, then complete two of the tasks below.
  1. Which song do you like the most? Explain your answer.
  2. Which song do you like the least? Explain your answer.
  3. List in Spanish and English 3 phrases from a song.
  4. Pick a song and describe the song and video. How would you describe the song? What other songs does it sound like? What instruments do you see/hear?
  5. Find another song (in any language) about staying safe during the pandemic. Share a link to the video and say where the artist is from.
